The Texans released an update on Gary Kubiak this morning. The team's official site has the story here, but an excerpt is below for your immediate reaction.

"Our primary concern is of course with Gary’s health and well-being," Texans Executive VP of Football Operations and General Manager Rick Smith said. "There have been so many people throughout the city and across the country that have reached out to express their love and support and we are thankful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Gary is alert, coherent and in good spirits. He is continuing to be evaluated and monitored."

Kubiak experienced dizziness and a light-headed feeling, causing him to stop and kneel down as he was on his way off the sidelines for halftime. The Houston Texans sports medicine staff and team doctors attended to Kubiak immediately before he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Accompanied by team personnel and family, Kubiak went through a battery of tests at the hospital. Kubiak was admitted overnight and will remain with medical personnel for at least the next 24 hours.

Keep those positive thoughts and wishes to Kubiak and his family coming.
