Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Chargers v. Broncos

New, comments

It's the last game of Thursday Night Football, which means it's the last time we'll have to listen to that intro for TNF. I know it's two weeks after Thanksgiving, but I know what I'm thankful for.

This man will not be making an appearance either in this game or on Sunday.

So what game will people who have NFL Network (or those who have found a way around not having it) be treated to?

Well, you should have paid attention to the title. Tonight we get to watch one of the two teams the Texans actually beat in the San Diego Chargers. Playing against them is the Denver Broncos; a team that the Texans will face next week who, more than likely, will be resting their starters by the fourth quarter of that game.

Ugh, remember when the Texans were supposed to battle the Broncos for a playoff bye?

Instead we have a season where we lose 11 straight and dump two coaches along the way. Okay, so maybe it's not THAT bad.

Anyway, the usual rules of decorum apply and of course, Peyton Manning's forehead is fair game.

Enjoy the game, y'all.
