2013 NFL Free Agency Open Thread: Texans Remain Quiet

As Day Two of NFL free agency rolls on, the Houston Texans remain quiet. Continue your discussion about the Texans, Glover Quin, Connor Barwin, and all other things free agent in this latest open thread on Battle Red Blog.

"People, I'm a free agent, too. Why no talk about how the Texans have to re-sign me?"

James Casey is a Philadelphia Eagle. Glover Quin is a Detroit Lion. And a somewhat irked Lion, it would appear:

Not that I blame Quin. If it's true the only team he's ever known didn't even offer him a contract, he has every right to be pissed. From the Texans' perspective (and as TDC has wisely noted), that's a fairly telling clue that Smithiak didn't consider Glover Quin to be a part of their future, much less irreplaceable.

In the meantime, we'll keep our eyes trained on Philadelphia to see if the Eagles come to terms with Connor Barwin, or if the Texans emerge as serious suitors for any other free agents. Keep the free agency chatter going in the Comments below.
