2013 NFL Free Agency: Greg Jones Visiting Houston Today

The Texans are hosting Greg Jones, fullback formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, for a visit today. Could the Texans be turning back the clock to the days of a classic fullback?

As Kipling would say, "If you can take on Lamar Woodley one-on-one, you'll be a man, my son."

Mark Berman tweets:

With James Casey now an Eagle and the only fullback on the current roster being Tyler Clutts, it would make sense for the Texans to consider their options at the position. Could we see the Texans returning to the utilization of a more classic fullback in the Vonta Leach mode now that Casey has left for greener pastures?

Jacksonville fans seem disappointed about Jones potentially leaving town, much less for a job with a divisional rival. Perhaps the most stirring endorsement of Jones' worth comes from a former coworker:

Assuming the Texans can make the dollars work with him, is there anyone among you who wouldn't be in favor of adding Greg Jones to the squad?
