2013 BRB Mock Draft: With The Seventh Overall Pick, The Arizona Cardinals Select...

If you want to see some well reasoned analysis for who the Cardinals should take with the seventh pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, check out what one fan did in the 2013 BRB Mock Draft.

A lot of Texans fans really wanted this guy back in 2010.

Kangol hat donned, theSpaceCityKid steps to the podium to disclose the identity of the newest Arizona Cardinal...

The Arizona Cardinals are in an absolutely stacked division with a new coach and no long-term answer at QB. With that said, I do not expect them to be in a big hurry to get back in to contention. I see Bruce Arians wanting to build this team the right way--from the inside out. The Cards will go into the draft hoping to scoop one of the top two tackles since their offensive line is possibly the worst in the league. However, with both Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher off the board in this mock, I believe Arizona might look for a trade back to get a few extra picks to shore up all of their areas of need. If they had to stay put (like I did here), there is only one obvious choice.

With the 7th overall pick of the 2013 BRB Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Chance Warmack (OG--Alabama).

If you think this is too high to add a player like Warmack to the interior of your OL, you need to rethink your draft philosophy. Warmack is a monster and some consider him to be one of the best players in the draft. I have him above Lane Johnson on my board, and OL help is the number one goal. Of course, Geno Smith was a consideration here, but with the news of Arizona possibly trading for Carson Palmer, I think Arians is looking ahead to next year's stacked QB class and concentrating on getting a decent OL together to protect that later investment.

General bias against picking an interior offensive lineman in the top ten be damned, I love this pick. It's not likely to excite the majority of a fan base, but it's a shrewd move. BricAM and the Buffalo Bills are now on the clock.
