After waiting an hour and a half, your Houston Texans finally made their first move on day three of the 2013 NFL Draft.

With the 124th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected Trevardo Williams, linebacker from the University of Connecticut.

I'm saying linebacker because I'm not quite sure if the Texans will play him outside, especially after taking Sam Montgomery yesterday, or if they will both play outside with Brooks Reed sliding inside, or if Williams heads inside behind Brian Cushing and Darryl Sharpton. This is going to be something to watch.

I had Trevardo Williams mocked to Houston three different times. Yes, each one of those words are a link. Initially, I like the pick, clearly, because Williams had demonstrated ability to get into the backfield in multiple years. You're talking about a guy who had growth and production improvement over the course of four years. In the past two years, Williams had 24 sacks and 28.5 tackles for a loss. He's got 4.57 speed and also had 30 reps on the bench press. This is an athletic guy who can really make something happen as a rotation guy and special teamer in year one.

What say you, BRBers? Put your always spot-on reactions to this pick in the comments below and stay tuned as the Texans will be back on the clock in round five.
