We all knew the Houston Texans would likely make a move at tackle and they did so today. Take it away, Ms. Ganguli.
Can confirm the #Texans are retaining offensive tackle Ryan Harris on a one-year deal.

Harris, if you'll remember, was signed after Rashad Butler was put on injured reserve. The 30-year-old Butler, also a free agent, is not expected to return after this and the Andrew Gardner re-signing.
Harris did play in all 16 games last season, splitting snaps with young starter Derek Newton, and started two games when Newton suffered some injuries. This was only the second time in his six-year career that Harris played in all 16 games. The 28-year-old Fighting Irish alumnus is expected to compete for snaps at right tackle, once again, with Newton.
For all you mock drafters, you can slide right tackle down the list of priorities behind wide receiver, inside linebacker, safety, and nose tackle. As with running back, defensive end, and outside linebacker, I can only imagine the Texans adding day three depth to their offensive line unit, for better or worse.
Thoughts, BRB? Happy to see Harris back?
