Who Is Your Favorite Sports Radio Or Television Personality?

New, comments

There's tons of ways to get your sports fix, now-a-days. Who's your favorite to listen to or watch? Least favorite?

So I was listening to the radio whilst driving around last night. Fred Davis and former New England Patriot Ted Johnson (learn about his career here) were on for Sports Radio 610, and I can honestly say I enjoy listening to them whenever they're on air, which is something I can't say for the other radio personalities on that station. I sent them a text (while at a red light, mind you) to the effect of "Hi, from Battle Red Blog!"

Ted Johnson, at least, is a reader and said as much on air, which was nice. I tweeted both of them a word of thanks for the short plug and here's Johnson's reply:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/dvda4u">@dvda4u</a> Absolutely we will be! Thx for listening David. I enjoy reading your blog too..</p>&mdash; Ted Johnson (@Teddyjradio) <a href="https://twitter.com/Teddyjradio/statuses/347580803091415040">June 20, 2013</a></blockquote>

Clearly, the man has good taste. I tweeted this article at both of them. If you're reading this, Fred and/or Ted, make an account and let us hear from you!

Anyway, I thought I'd return the plug for these guys. If you're driving around from 6-10 pm, consider Fred & Ted; they're a lot of fun to listen to.

So, readers, share with us your favorite radio or television personalities, be they local or national. Rich Eisen of NFLN is about as likable as they come. How about your least favorite? If you're out of town, do you catch any online streams of Houston radio?

So many questions! Have at it in the Comments below.
