Houston Texans News
It's a Bird. It's a Plane. It's Brian Cushing!
As we wander through the desert without football, it appears to the only thing newsworthy are football players jumping on boxes. I'll take it over Texans news coming from a courthouse every day. This video was published yesterday shows Brian Cushing's ability to leap tall boxes in a single bound.

J.J. Watt: Man of the People.
Mr. Watt put out more details for his #JJ4aDay contest. I will not be entering, as Watt's workout might kill me.

Houston is a unique place to say the least, especially when it comes to cars.

Around the League
The Jags are not enough.
Shan Khan appears to be looking into purchasing Fulham of the English Premiere League, joining the ranks of Malcolm Glazer (who owns both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United) and Stan Kroenke (who owns both the St. Louis Rams and Arsenal). Hopefully it goes over better then the Glazers and Manchester United.

No Class in Dallas.
1,250 temporary seats at Cowboys Stadium were added to lead up to Super Bowl XLV, and only hours before the game they were deemed unsafe. This forced 1,250 people to other seats (Question, where do you find 800 open seats at the Super Bowl?) and standing room only sections. U.S. District Judge Barbara Lynn denied the fans' attempt to create a class action suit against the NFL. BRB, what would you do if you had to move seats at the Super Bowl?

So It Begins...
The domino effect on quarterbacks resigning with teams begins with Matt Stafford and the Lions. Stafford signed a three-year extension worth $53 million and keep him in Detroit until 2017. Next up for a contract is Matt Ryan.
