Joe Mays? That Joe Mays?
Indeed, says Adam Caplann (and others, included but not limited to Dave Zangaro):
The Texans have sincere interest in ILB Joe Mays. Realistic chance that they make him an offer over next 24 hours, per source.

Source said Texans prepared to make offer to Mays during visit. Of teams interested, Texans best chance at playing time due to depth issue.

From a football perspective, adding Mays makes all the sense in the world for the Texans. Your Houston Texans remain woefully thin at ILB, especially with Darryl Sharpton continuing to audition for the part of Mr. Glass in "Unbreakable 2: Electric Boogaloo." With Mays coming in for a visit, it stands to reason that dollars shouldn't be a deal-breaker if playing time and a shot at winning are Mays' chief concerns.
What say you, BRB? Are you on board with Joe Mays tearing the ears of QBs not named Matt Schaub asunder as an inside linebacker for your Houston Texans?
