Houston Texans Officially Sign Joe Mays, Waive Johnny Adams

Someone had to go to make room for the arrival of Joe Mays. The Texans announced who that player was this evening.

The signing of Joe Mays, which was made official today, meant that someone on the Texans' roster would have to be let go to make room. We were waiting to see who it was, and now we have the answer (courtesy of @TexansPR):

Adams, you might recall, was one of the 23 undrafted rookie free agents signed by the Texans after the 2013 NFL Draft concluded. He was a late round prospect who, if healthy, has a chance to catch on elsewhere. Here's wishing him the best of luck as he looks to continue his career in the NFL.
