Here's a quick look at tonight's match-ups:
- Vikings @ Bills: Adrian Peterson won't see the field, but Christian Ponder will be all up in...something...I guess. Nah, he'll probably miss it. EJ Manuel looked very good in a two minute drill drive last weekend, but it was all wide open for him, as well. Plus, Mario Williams.
- 49ers @ Chiefs: This is the game where Alex Smith shows the 49ers they'll forever regret trading him. Or not. Colin Kaepernick was easily my favorite non-Texan to watch last year.
- Raiders @ Saints: The Raiders announced yesterday that Alex Barron will be the team's starting left tackle (left!). Mr. Barron hasn't been in the league since 2010, and there's a good reason why. Even the Saints might be able to stop the Raiders this game.
- Buccaneers at Patriots: This is the national game of the night. The Bucs spent a ton of assorted swag improving their defensive backfield. Tom Brady will again be without Rob Gronkowski and Shooty McTightEnd.
