Upon completing his suspension, Antonio Smith rejoined the Texans yesterday. He was literally waiting outside Reliant Stadium when the bus pulled up.
"It was early, very early," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "I think he wanted to see his teammates more than anything. I give him credit for wanting to get into the weight room too. I think he was excited to see his teammates and letting him know he was proud of them for finding a way to win."
To make room for Smith on the 53- man roster, the Texans formally placed David Quessenberry on Injured Reserve.
The Ninja Assassin should be in the starting lineup when the Titans come to town on Sunday.
