Well, we need a change in fortune. No, the game hasn't been bad, per se. Your Houston Texans trail the Tennessee Titans 7-10, and would be up if Randy Bullock could make his field goals. Maybe a fresh thread will provide the change we need.
The Texans started out like a hot knife through butter with Ben Tate and Arian Foster rushing for 79 combined yards to set up a Matt Schaub to Garrett Graham touchdown. The touchdown was Graham's second of the season and Schaub's fourth, all four to his duo of Wisconsin tight ends.
Tennessee responded with their own touchdown, after 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt gave them a first down on an illegal hands to the face penalty. Brice McCain, once again, was beaten for a touchdown, this time by Kendall Wright. A late interception by Bernard Pollard would tee up Rob Bironas for a 47-yard field goal to give us our halftime score.
It hasn't been a pretty game, but that's what you get in rivalry games. Here's your second open game day thread for all your witty and poignant observations. Be prolific in your commenting, BRBers.
