Gary Kubiak updated the media on the Texans' injury situation after practice today. Dave Zangaro of CSN Houston compiles what Kubes had to say in this article. The high points, you ask?

Andre Johnson

"Andre’s fine. He’s doing really good," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "The expectations are for him to practice with his pads on and then that’s the last stage before you can move on to play again."

Kubiak said from what he’s seen this week, it looks like Johnson will be able to play on Sunday against the Ravens.

Duane Brown

Kubiak said Brown will be an "end-of-the-week decision" and can play without practicing. If Brown can’t play, veteran swing tackle Ryan Harris will start.

Ed Reed

Reed was a game-time decision on Sunday against the Titans but didn’t play. Kubiak said Reed told him he felt like he could play.

"We continue to move toward him playing but I still say it’s going to be an end-of-the-week decision," Kubiak said. "So we’ll see how he comes out of this practice, how he comes out of tomorrow, but if the progression stays the same, then obviously we’re real close."
