What's the point? I know you're asking that question. What's the point of watching college football on a Saturday when the Texas Longhorns aren't playing? You ask good questions, sir or madam. I like the cut of your jib.
Truth is, I don't have a great answer beyond, "There's football on, and you owe it to yourself to watch football whenever it's on, even if your favorite team isn't playing." It's weak, I know. But football deserves your support today.
Thus, I give you this open thread to discuss the day's college football action, be it LSU-Georgia (2:30 p.m. CDT), Oklahoma-Notre Dame (2:30 p.m.), Ole Miss-Alabama (5:30 p.m.), Texas A&M-Arkansas (6 p.m.), Wisconsin-Ohio State (7 p.m.), or whatever else you're watching on this fall Saturday.
Chin up. The Horns will be back before you know it. Unless you know that they're playing Iowa State at 6:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, in which case they'll be back exactly when you know it.
