Open Game Day Thread: The Houston Texans Aren't Playing, Yet We Watch Anyway (Early Afternoon Edition)

The Texans don't play until 9:20 p.m. CDT tomorrow night. To pass the time, we shall watch other NFL teams play their Week 1 games, and we will comment about these other lesser teams in Battle Red Blog's first open thread for the first Sunday of the 2013 football season.

We'll always have Detroit, Justin Forsett.

I wish the Houston Texans were playing today. They're not, you know. No Texans until tomorrow night at 9:20 p.m. CDT. While I'd rather watch the good guys today, we'll have to make due with passing the time by watching other teams compete in the FIRST SUNDAY OF THE FOOTBALL SEASON OHMANTHISISSTILLGREATEVENWITHOUTTHETEXANSPLAYING.

This is your first open thread for the early afternoon (12 p.m. CDT) games. Talk about what you're seeing in the Patriots-Bills, Bengals-Bears, Dolphins-Browns, Vikings-Lions, Raiders-Colts, Falcons-Saints, Buccaneers-Jets, Titans-Steelers, Seahawks-Panthers, or Chiefs-Jaguars games.

Football Sundays are back, friends. Enjoy the games.
