Coaches and Quarterbacks:
The Atlanta Falcons coaching staff, led by Mike Smith, will coach the North team.
Mike Smith on the Quarterbacks of the North team:
I think that all three have very good skillsets and I've been very impressed by Tajh Boyd's athleticism. He's very athletic and he can extend plays. In an all-star game, we're going to get an opportunity to see that. Logan Thomas is a big, strong, more of the prototypical drop-back type of quarterback. I like his presence in the huddle. And then Stephen Morris is kind of a guy that's in-between those two guys. He can throw the ball and he has some athleticism and can run the ball as well.
The Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff, led by Gus Bradley, will guide the South team.
Quarterbacks Derek Carr, David Fales, and Jimmy Garoppolo will play for the South. Garoppolo received an invite when A.J. McCarron turned down his invitation, even though he lives just down the road from the site of the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL. McCarron is said to be taking advice from his doctors and agent to focus on resting and recovering a banged up body. A.J. is preparing for the NFL Scouting Combine at the end of February.
