The Dallas Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks, and the battle for first place of the NFC East is on the line in tonight's installment of Sunday Night Football. If the Eagles win at home tonight, they will be in sole possession of first place. The Eagles and Cowboys would both haves a 5-1 record, but the Eagles would have a 2-0 division advantage. If the Giants win, then Dallas will lead the division.
The Eagles will be wearing all black uniforms for the first time ever in their 81-year history and have appropriately dubbed it as "Black Sunday" at Lincoln Financial Field. Former Houston Texans player Connor Barwin mentioned this week's uniform details during an interview:
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin let the cat out of the bag Monday during an interview with local radio station 94WIP. "We will be wearing all black, for the first time ever I think," Barwin said. "We’ve always wore black jerseys with white pants, but we will be in all black which is going to be very cool for Sunday night."
There's plenty of former Texans on the Eagle's squad to root for tonight:
- LB DeMeco Ryans
- LB Connor Barwin
- LB Bryan Braman
- TE James Casey
- WR Jeff Maehl
- OT Wade Smith
- OG Andrew Gardner
- P Donnie Jones
