The Texans have already played this week. Of course, Watt was magical. Luck was Luck, and T.Y. Hilton continued to be a Texans-killer. What to do now? Your Sunday is free. Why not play another fantasy game?
I am posting the lineup I'm using this week for FanDuel.
QB: Jay Cutler, Bears - The Falcons are second in average yards allowed per pass play (8.2) and tied for second-fewest number of sacks this season (4). Atlanta's defense will give Jay Cutler time and space to make plays. This season, Cutler already has 12 touchdowns through the air - tied for second most in the league. (FanDuel Salary: $8,500)
RB: Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks - Lynch is facing the worst run defense in the league as ranked by Football Outsiders this season in the Dallas Cowboys. Sign me up. ($9,200)
RB: Andre Williams, Giants - Have to find a bargain or two in this line of work. Williams will be the featured back with Rashad Jennings out with injury, and he is facing an Eagles defense that has given up 132 rushing yards per game. ($6,300)
WR: Jordy Nelson, Packers - Nelson is the number one wide receiver on a team quarterbacked by Aaron Rodgers. Need I say more? Nelson is second in fantasy points per game (18.7 FPPG) among wide receivers this season and faces a Dolphins defense that has allowed an average of 90.2 receiving yards to number one wide receivers on the opposing team per Football Outsiders. ($8,500)
WR: Golden Tate, Lions - Tate has had a least five receptions and 50 receiving yards in his first five games with the Lions. Tate will take over as the number one target this week for Matt Stafford with Calvin Johnson listed as doubtful. ($6,400)
WR: Mohamed Sanu, Bengals - Like Golden Tate, Mohamed Sanu will need to take a bigger role in the Bengals' offense with top receiver A.J. Green unable go today. Sanu has more targets this season then Green and is averaging 8.8 yards per catch. ($6,000)
TE: Jordan Reed, Redskins - Reed, while limited in practice this week, is scheduled to return to the lineup this week against the Cardinals. Arizona has given up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. ($5,100)
K: Brandon McManus, Broncos - Picking kickers is like throwing darts in the dark. In the Broncos' offense I trust. ($5,000)
DEF: Broncos - Two words: Geno Smith. It was either pick the defense facing the Jets or the Jaguars, and the Broncos defense looks more formidable than the Titans. ($5,000)
My lineup is set.
