Among the Texans' fan base, there was some hope that Jadeveon Clowney could potentially return to action in time for the Texans' Thursday Night Football game against the Colts next week. Clowney's remarks earlier this week about being back in "a few weeks" cast some doubt upon that hope. Bill O'Brien just made sure no one is harboring any illusions about Clowney returning for Week Six.

If you're keeping track at home, this would mean the earliest we could possibly see Jadeveon Clowney back on the field for the Texans would be the Week Seven Monday Night game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on October 20th. Of course, that's not to say it'll happen; it could be even later than that.
