Countdown To Kickoff: Houston Texans v. Pittsburgh Steelers

It's game day for your Houston Texans, which means it's game day on Battle Red Blog, which means you should probably spend those last few painful hours/minutes/seconds before the Texans and Steelers kick off on Monday Night Football with fellow fanatics in BRB's Countdown to Kickoff thread.

Your Houston Texans make their first and only foray of the season into Monday Night Football tonight. They'll do so in Pittsburgh against a 3-3 Steelers team that boasts extremely dangerous offensive weapons in Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. As Corzo illustrated here, the Texans' performance on MNF has been a mixed bag. Will Bill O'Brien begin charting a new course for the franchise in his first Monday night game as a head coach?  We'll know soon enough.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, the purpose of this thread is for you, as entertainingly and painlessly as possible, to pass the time until the Texans and Steelers kick off at 7:30 p.m. CDT tonight. This the place for you to engage in the free exchange of ideas about the Texans, the Steelers, what you hope to see this evening, your estimation of what your 2014 Houston Texans are, or whatever else is on your mind as we wait to see AFC team will move to 4-3 on the year.

The first open game thread for Texans-Steelers will post at 7:15 p.m. CDT. Until then, share your thoughts, hopes, dreams, and nightmares about the Texans-Steelers Monday Night Football game and/or the prospects for the Texans' 2014 season here.
