After returning to practice late last week, there was some hope that Jadeveon Clowney would make his triumphant return to the Texans' lineup against the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Alas, despite Clowney warming up on the field before the game, the Texans declared Clowney inactive for the sixth time this year.
In his comments to the media this morning, the first pick of the 2014 NFL Draft said he expects that six-game inactive streak to end on Sunday when the Texans play the Titans in Nashville.
Courtesy of the team's official site heck out the video of what Clowney had to say at his locker after practice earlier today. Although there are still a few days before kickoff, note that Clowney said he'd be surprised if he didn't play on Sunday and that he believes he's reached a point where he's as healthy as he's going to get this year.
