Way back on October 22nd, PFT first reported that the Houston Texans would be without Brian Cushing for "at least one game" to rest the knee he injured last season. As fate would have it, Cushing did in fact miss the Texans' last two games before the bye week.
In related Texans linebacker injury news, Jadeveon Clowney also missed the Texans-Eagles game before the bye due to the flu and/or a setback in his recovery from knee surgery.
Yet I bring you good tidings, Texans fans. Bill O'Brien confirmed that Brian Cushing and Jadeveon Clowney both practiced today and that "it definitely looks good" for them playing in Cleveland on Sunday. So sayeth the Texans' head coach:
(on if he has and update on ILB Brian Cushing and OLB Jadeveon Clowney) "Yeah, those guys they practiced today and I thought that they moved around pretty well. I still would put them in that day to day category. We’ll see how they feel in the morning, but it looked decent today, that’s for sure."
(on if ILB Brian Cushing and OLB Jadeveon Clowney have a shot to play on Sunday at Cleveland) "Sure. Yeah, it definitely looks good that they would have a shot to play on Sunday."
In a final bit of Houston Texans linebacking movement, the team also announced that it promoted Max Bullough to the 53-man roster:
Texans have signed Max Bullough to the active roster. We profiled the @MSU_Football LB here: http://t.co/TGLMHQezBm pic.twitter.com/tix16U3PaB

Bullough, of course, was a fan favorite during training camp after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent. Good to see him getting a chance to contribute on the active roster.
Your thoughts on the prospects of a revamped Texans linebacking crew on Sunday?
