As Corzo detailed in the recap of the game, Ryan Mallett was horrendous in today's loss to the Bengals. Turns out there may be a legitimate physical reason why. Mark Berman tweets:
Ryan Mallett played with an injured right pectoral muscle. He'll have an MRI. Could miss a few games.

Oof. For what it's worth, Mallett made no mention of any injury issues in his postgame comments.
If Mallett does in fact have to miss time, should Bill O'Brien go back to Ryan Fitzpatrick? Or should he see whether Tom Savage is ready to contribute?
UPDATE: Ryan Mallett's season is over. It's now being reported that he'll have surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle.
