Bill O'Brien Will Not Name Texans' Starting Quarterback Until Kickoff Against Ravens

As an entire fan base eagerly awaits his decision on whether Case Keenum or Thad Lewis will start at QB for the Texans against the Ravens, Bill O'Brien remains silent.

"If I see you turn your back to the line of scrimmage again, I will lose my mind."

It's apparent to me that Bill O'Brien wants to wait for all the votes to be counted here on BRB before he names a starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Ravens. That, or he just wants to keep the Ravens guessing about which potent gunslinger they'll actually face when the Texans' offense hits the field. Those are really the only two logical explanations for why O'Brien continues to refuse to name a starter this week.

Drew Dougherty has the exact verbiage from OB:

"I'm going to keep that one close to the vest," the head coach said on Wednesday. "Both these guys, Case and Thad, are out there working hard. Right up until game time, that's going to be the way it is."

O'Brien said he's "pretty close" to making a final decision, but that the two will continue to practice this week in preparation for Baltimore.

Hear that, Ravens? You have to prepare for Thad Lewis AND Case Keenum! Good luck with that.
