BREAKING NEWS: Jadeveon Clowney Has Microfracture Surgery On Knee, Out At Least Nine Months

Texans LB Jadeveon Clowney underwent microfracture knee surgery on Monday and is expected to be sidelined nine months, per sources.

In addition to a lateral meniscus tear Clowney had articular cartilage damage. #Texans knew all along microfracture surgery was possible.

Yep, you read that right. Jadeveon Clowney has just undergone the notoriously risky (and dreaded) microfracture surgery on his injured knee. With at least nine months expected for recovery time, the Texans may not see Clowney back on the field until part way into the 2015 regular season at the earliest. Considering this same surgery likely ended former Texans third round pick Brennan Williams' career, I am not sure I could accurately describe my level of concern right now.
