2014 Houston Texans Free Agency Tracker/Open Thread: Day Two

New, comments

After a busy first day of free agency in the NFL, teams and players continue to dance. Talk about all the rumors, signings, and rumored signings on Day Two of free agency in 2014 in Battle Red Blog's open thread.

Not a whole lot of chatter about Ben Tate on the first day of free agency, was there?

Before we dive into Day Two of free agency on the 2014 National Football League (I hate myself for writing those last three words...who am I, Ron Jaworski?) calendar, let us recap what happened in Day One.

Brice McCain? No longer a member of the Houston Texans.

Owen Daniels? Handed his walking papers.

Garrett Graham? Peddling his wares on the open market.

Earl Mitchell? Signed with the Dolphins.

Antonio Smith? Checking out the dojo inventory in Washington D.C.

Josh McCown? Visiting Reliant Park and possibly giddy over its proximity to his old stomping grounds in Huntsville.

Ben Tate? Championing the idea that he's an elite running back, and hopefully not taking offense at the lack of public buzz around him at the moment.

Matt Schaub? I like to picture him as George Costanza.

Of course, there was a veritable metric ton of other free agent news yesterday, all of which you can catch up on via SB Nation's Free Agent Tracker.

Day Two is here. Go forth and comment mightily about any news, rumors, or rumored news in this open thread.
