Mays is probably best know by Texans fans not for his play in Houston, but the hit he put on Matt Schaub in 2012. While a member of the Broncos, Mays launched himself into Schaub, resulting in the quarterback losing a part of his ear.

While with the Texans, Mays started in 13 of the 14 games he appeared in and collected 67 tackles. With the departure of Bryan Braman and now Mays, the Texans have a few large holes to fill on special teams and linebacking corps. Happy trails, Mr. Mays.
