Houston Texans Injuries: Arian Foster Returns To Twitter, Says He's Been Medically Cleared By His Doctor

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster announced that his doctor has given him clearance to return to action. With Ben Tate heading to the Browns, this qualifies as rather sizable news.

A little over a year ago, Arian Foster, a rather prolific tweeter, abruptly announced he was leaving Twitter.

Last night, Foster made a triumphant return to "the digital realm," going on a tweeting frenzy that saw him discuss Ben Tate, Owen Daniels, music, the NCAA, what he hopes to pursue after football (his answer: "Life"), and many other things. You can find his tweets here.

The most important tweet for Texans fans, especially seeing as how Ben Tate has left Houston for Cleveland, was this:

As you'll recall, Foster missed most of the 2013 season due to various ailments, eventually getting shut down in November to have season-ending back surgery. While I'm still skeptical that the Arian Foster of old is coming back, it's nevertheless promising to hear reports that he's been medically cleared to return to action.  The Texans need Foster in 2014.  They need him badly.
