Saturday Night's Alright For Commenting: BRB Open Thread (04/12/14)

Another beautiful Houston Saturday is in the books. It's been about a week of marvelous weather here, and we must enjoy it while we can because summer is coming.

If you're not lucky enough to be in Houston right now, we could certainly discuss why that is and how soon you plan on rectifying that situation. Until your return, we hope you're spending as much time as possible extolling the virtues of the Houston Texans to those around you. Safe journey, pilgrims!

We could also talk about Dillo's superb collection of hilarious dog-related gifs or just talk about dogs in general because dogs are the superior household pet. The picture in my profile is of my dog Midnight wearing a David Carr jersey, by the way.

We could also talk about Game of Thrones, a show based off of George R.R. Martin's ongoing book series A Song of Ice and Fire. They've gotten me through quite a few NFL offseasons so far. Season 4 premiered last Sunday on HBO, while Martin has periodically released sample chapters of his much-anticipated sixth installment, The Winds of Winter. Highly recommended viewing and reading, though do leave any spoilers out of the Comments, please.
