There is a "good chance" the Houston Texans will trade the first overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, according to NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt. And Jadeveon Clowney could be the key to it.

Not only will the NFL draft fall later than ever this year when it finally commences on the night of May 8, but also it will apparently pass the threshold of the calendar's fifth month while retaining its sense of utter mystery at the top. There are plenty of mocks giving South Carolina pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney to the No. 1 Texans -- including this one -- but no true consensus has formed because the question seemingly remains open in Houston with 16 days to go before the picking starts.
