Well liked safety and recently released Houston Texan Danieal Manning has decided to sign a one-year deal with the Bengals:

In other former Texans defensive back news, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Brice McCain. While it remains to be seen if McCain has a legitimate shot to make the Steelers' 53-man roster, best wishes to him as he attempts to continue his NFL career in Pittsburgh.

Lest you think the Texans are sitting around and twiddling their thumbs while all their defensive backs get picked up by the competition, they quietly re-signed Elbert Mack yesterday.
