2014 NFL Draft: Fourth Round Open Thread

New, comments

The Houston Texans have done quite a job through the first three rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft. What will they do in the fourth round? Check out Battle Red Blog for that and the reaction of Texans fans to the move(s).

Ryan Dunsmore

Since the 2014 NFL Draft began on Thursday night, your Houston Texans have added Jadeveon Clowney, Xavier Su'a-Filo, C.J. Fiedorowicz, and Louis Nix. I won't speak for anyone else, but I'm generally pleased with that haul.

Your view may not be as charitable, perhaps due in part to the fact that the Texans have not drafted a quarterback. Maybe today is the day--okay, it's definitely the day--the Texans draft a QB. If finding out who'll be competing with Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mallett Case Keenum, and T.J. Yates for a roster spot isn't enough of an enticement to get you to spend your Saturday watching television, you're either someone with a real life or not a big enough Houston Texans fanatic.

This is your first open thread for the third day of the 2014 NFL Draft. We will have a separate post for each Texanscentric move throughout the day, and we'll create additional open threads as necessary. You can also open a window on your browser for what I'm sure will be fair and balanced reactions to the draft as it plays out from yours truly on BRB's official Twitter feed.

Get excited! We're getting a QB today! Now hit the comments!

REMEMBER: DO NOT TIP, DIVULGE, OR COMMENT ON THE MOVES OR PICKS ANYWHERE IN THIS, OR ANY OTHER, THREAD(S) UNTIL THEY ARE ANNOUNCED ON THE TELEVISION BROADCAST. Violating that rule will result in a ban.
