While you never like to see anyone, especially a rookie who was the team's first pick in the draft and is being counted on to contribute mightily right away despite playing outside linebacker for the first time in his life, miss time with injury, a sports hernia in June is not cause for blinding panic. Clowney will be behind his teammates as a result of this setback, but better to face this issue during OTAs than in training camp or during the season. Here's wishing him a speedy and full recovery.
