Today the Texans cut rookie defensive lineman Tim Jackson and fullback Brad Smelley. They then signed rookie tight end Chris Coyle from Arizona State. Technically, the Texans re-signed Coyle, as Coyle was initially signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Texans back in May before he was released in June. For the TE loving fans out there, that makes six on the current roster heading into camp.
