Add All-Pro receiver Andre Johnson’s hamstring to the list of soft tissue injuries to worry about as the Texans settle in to the dog days of training camp. Johnson reportedly tweaked his hammy while making a spectacular catch during a closed practice earlier today.
Andre Johnson got "a little nicked" on a diving catch he made during 11 on 11s. Says he's not too worried about it. #Texans

Andre Johnson said he tweaked his right hamstring making great catch down middle. Not limping. No ice on it. Said he's not worried bout it.

Andre Johnson could miss a couple practices. He said anytime u get nicked up you're concerned and he's getting it checked.

Just like Johnson, Arian Foster’s hamstring injury is being downplayed as a minor issue.
Arian Foster did not practice. He did not meet with the media. So no word yet on his issue.

O'Brien on Arian Foster, who did not practice: "It's a minor deal... It's a long season, and he'll be out there." #Texans

Do not expect much in the way of injury information from the tight-lipped Bill O’Brien regime. We may never know just how serious (or not serious) Foster’s and Johnson’s injuries are until the start of preseason. If the team gets to the Week Three "dress rehearsal" game against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos with their two best offensive weapons still sidelined, that is when it will be time to start the mass panic. Until then, enjoy this video that the Mothership put out showcasing today's wide receiver vs. defensive back battles during one-on-one drills.
