Looks like the early concerns of September 2013 and the question Brett tried to answer several weeks ago may have gotten a little more pronounced this morning:

Sadly, all the pre-draft and post-draft love for Trevardo Williams around these parts shall now remain forever unrequited. And for those keeping track, here's an updated list of the Houston Texans' 2013 draft class.

1. DeAndre Hopkins (WR--Clemson)--starting at wide receiver for Texans.
2. D.J. Swearinger (S--South Carolina)--starting at safety for Texans.
3. Brennan Williams (OT--North Carolina)--released.
3. Sam Montgomery (OLB/DE--LSU)--released.
4. Trevardo Williams (LB/DE--UConn)--released.
6. David Quessenberry (OT/OG--San Jose State)--battling lymphoma.
6. Alan Bonner (WR--Jacksonville State)--waived-injured, then placed on Injured Reserve.
6. Chris Jones (DT--Bowling Green State)--released.
6. Ryan Griffin (TE--UConn)--currently TE2 on the Texans' depth chart.
