One of the Texans' third round picks has been cleared to play. But don't pencil him in at nose tackle just yet.

No more PUP List for Louis Nix:

Finally, a positive bit of injury news for the Texans.

As he's missed all of training camp up to this point, any hope of Nix starting at nose tackle for the foreseeable future should be dashed; it's Jerrell Powe's gig until further notice. Nevertheless, here's hoping Nix is able to contribute to the Texans' defensive line this season.
