In the rich tradition of hysterically reporting that Texans players have been carted off the practice field (remember reading about how Andre Johnson was "carted off the field" during training camp a few years ago and everyone promptly losing their minds, only to later find out 'Dre merely rode a cart off after dislocating a finger?), Twitter tells me that Jadeveon Clowney exited the practice field today after suffering an apparent right leg or hip injury. AND HE LEFT ON A CART.
The tweets tell the story. Kind of.
Jadeveon Clowney sitting on trainers table with head trainer. He's upset. Grabbing right thigh and hip flexor area.

Jadeveon Clowney putting ice on his upper right leg by his waist. Don't want to assume specific injury. That's all we have for now.

Clowney been with trainers for a bit, appear to be looking at right leg, groin, hip. Walks over to tent to get looked at more

OB said they're just trying to manage Clowney. I asked him if Clowney tweaked something today. OB said no.

#Texans' O'Brien said team is "just trying to manage" Jadeveon Clowney. A little sore. Team not concerned about injury. #NFL

#Texans' O'Brien said Clowney is on a "pitch count." Reps being counted. Team trying to monitor his activity, which was already restricted.

While injuries, no matter how minor, are never good news, I'm going to hold off on wandering into traffic until we get additional word from Clowney or the Texans that the injury is worth panicking over. You, however, are free to shriek and lament as you see fit in the Comments below.
