Houston Texans-New York Giants Injury Report: Will Arian Foster Play Tomorrow?

Arian Foster is among those listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Giants. Will Foster play tomorrow, or will the team hold him out with that hamstring injury?

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

With the week of practice over and the game less than 24 hours away, let's take a look at the Texans' end-of-the-week injury report.

Out

DE/OLB Jadeveon Clowney

S Shiloh Keo

Questionable

RB Arian Foster

SS D.J. Swearinger

G Ben Jones

Probable

ILB Akeem Dent

TE C.J. Fiedorowicz

TE Garrett Graham

WR DeAndre Hopkins

DE Tim Jamison

WR Andre Johnson

CB Johnathan Joseph

NT Louis Nix

FB Jay Prosch

Clowney and Keo are obvious as outs. On the bright side, Clowney should only be a few more weeks away from returning.

Foster and Swearinger were both limited participants in practice this week, which is encouraging. Foster should be good to go tomorrow, though I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the TExans played it cautiously and held him out of the game to get him healthy for the fairly tough stretch of games we've got coming up next. As discussed earlier this week, Swearinger is a safe bet to play.

Everyone listed as probable fully participated in practice this week, so they should all be available to play on Sunday.

Notable injuries on the Giants' side are first-round pick WR Odell Beckham and veteran LB Jon Beason; both of them are out for tomorrow's game.  Punter Steve Weatherford being listed as questionable.

UPDATE (SUNDAY MORNING): The latest word is that Arian Foster is a game-time decision. He will test out his hamstring on the field before the game to determine if he can play.

UPDATE II: Arian Foster has been declared out for today's game. It's Alfred Blue's show now.
