Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was named the Pro Football Writers of America Defensive Player of the Year on Wednesday. Watt, who also won the award in 2012, joins Bruce Smith (1993, 1996) and Ray Lewis (2000, 2003) as the only two-time winners of the award.
