So, the second playoff game of the season is on deck, pitting the Ravens of Baltimore, a team your Texans destroyed, against the Steelers of Pittsburgh, a team your Texans should have beaten (but did not). I refuse to buy the idea that Gary Kubiak and Joe Flacco are going to go on the road in the playoffs and win. Especially when Jacoby Jones is also involved.
Now...it's not that I hate Jacoby Jones. I don't. I just don't like him much, because I find him absolutely maddening.
I've never seen another receiver who could so consistently make circus catches while also consistently dropping throws when he's wide open. I've never seen another punt returner whose two defaults seem to be "dance around and get three yards while fans scream at your" and "take it to the house." As a return man, he's Jermaine Lewis with a lobotomy. As a WR, he's...I dunno...a severely myopic Alvin Harper? Analogies are hard.
So are segues.
Steelers 27, Ravens 17.
