There's that other shoe dropping after Brandon Dunn was signed.

Texans would like to re-sign Chandler Worthy to practice squad if he clears waivers
— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) October 13, 2015
After he showed promise as a returner in the preseason, there was some hope Worthy would be able to re-energize a weak unit when he was promoted to the active roster before the Week Two game against the Panthers. Alas, like so many things for the Texans so far this season, it just didn't work. Worthy didn't play well in limited action as Houston's return man and soon found himself glued to the sidelines. Even with Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts III out last week, Worthy still couldn't get on the field as a wide receiver, making his departure more a matter of "when" than "if."
Best of luck to Worthy as he looks to continue his NFL career, whether it's back on the Texans' practice squad or elsewhere.
UPDATE: The Texans did in fact re-sign Worthy to their practice squad.
