Texans-Falcons: The Day After

Fans of the Houston Texans were predictably up in arms after the team looked downright awful in yesterday's beatdown at the hands of the Falcons. Are they feeling any better today? Battle Red Blog looks for the answers.

Fitting.
Fitting.
Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Judging from the disappointment, bewilderment, and anger expressed in the postgame thread after the Texans were embarrassed by the Falcons, I figure it might be a good idea to see if the sun coming up today had any effect on the collective mood of the Houston fan base.

Now that you've had some time to presumably sleep on it and perhaps get a bit of distance from the horrors that were inflicted upon your psyche by the local football team yesterday, how are you feeling about the 2015 Houston Texans today?

Still furious with Bill O'Brien? Rick Smith? Romeo Crennel? Ryan Mallett?

Disgusted with a vaunted defense that has looked mediocre or flat out bad instead of historically great?

Incredulous that adequate special teams play remains out of reach?

All of the above?

Or have you cooled down and begrudgingly written yesterday off as simply a perfect storm of ineptitude that is not indicative of how the rest of the season will go?
