Houston Texans Injury Report: Mike Mohamed Injury Settlement, Starters Limited

With a short week to prepare for the division-rival Colts, see who was limited in practice today for Houston and Indy. (Spoiler: 32 names are on today's report!)

Before we get started on the injury lists from today's practice, we have this breaking news to share regarding linebacker Mike Mohamed; this was rumored to be a possibility last week.

The Houston Texans played a very physical game against the Falcons on Sunday, and they have a ridiculously short week to turn around and host the Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium on Thursday night.  Normally, I hate the whole notion of the Thursday schedule for the NFL.  In this case, it is psychologically healthy for the players and fans of the Texans to put the recent disaster in Atlanta behind them.  Go compete with Houston's biggest division rival.

After searching through the latest reports in social media, including the Mothership, here is the status of key players with respect to Tuesday's practice:

Let's see, that's one, two, three, four....carry the one...yikes!  32 players on today's injury report between the two teams.  On second thought, I'm really not a fan of the NFL scheduling so many Thursday night games.

Chuck Pagano says that Andrew Luck threw footballs in practice today, but I don't know if that will ensure his participation in the game Thursday.  The way Luck has been playing so far this season, I'm not sure it will help his team either way.  Then again, the way the Texans have played so far this season, I'm not sure it matters for Houston either.
