Houston is actually leading at halftime? Cool.
Jadeveon Clowney has been in and out of the locker room so often today that Tania Ganguli took to Twitter to describe her latest assignment:
I am no longer covering a game, I am now covering Clowney's trips in and out of the locker room. #Texans— Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) November 1, 2015
The defense looks very fired-up so far, and the pass rush has finally made an impact.
The offense is still struggling in the running game, which means it is time for our weekly reminder that Xavier Su'a-Filo still hasn't lived up to being the 33rd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. I'll also take this moment to remind everyone that the Minnesota Vikings jumped in front of the Texans to draft Teddy Bridgewater with the 32nd pick of that draft, and the Oakland Raiders drafted Derek Carr with the 36th pick of that draft. I would give a kidney to have either of them under center in a Texans uniform right now.
The Texans have 9 carries for 14 yards rushing in the first half. That is, ah, not good football.
Stick around for the second half, where we might just get to see if Bill O'Brien shoves a Deep Steel Blue boot up someone's butt to get the offense working.
