Put this one in the "Saw It Coming" category, especially in light of Bill O'Brien's comments about Jadeveon Clowney earlier this week.
Texans rule out Jadeveon Clowney and Kareem Jackson, officially

Everyone else is probable for Texans.

Aaron Wilson has more in his story on the matter.
Clowney originally hurt his back against the Tennessee Titans, but was unable to practice the past three days after attempting to practice Wednesday. The back injury bothered him enough that he had extra treatment the remainder of the week. This marks the second game Clowney has missed this season, previously being sidelined against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a sprained right ankle. The injury is muscular with tests revealing no structural damage.
Meanwhile, the Texans ruled out veteran cornerback Kareem Jackson for the third consecutive game with a sprained right ankle.
With Jackson out, rookie Kevin Johnson will start at cornerback opposite Johnathan Joseph.
I'm far more bullish on a starting corner tandem of K-Jo and J-Jo against the Bengals (or any other team) than I am the starting OLB tandem of Whitney Mercilus and (gulp) John Simon. Deposit your dos centavos in the Comments below.
