The Texans are in Cincinnati this evening to take on the 8-0 Bengals on ESPN. Andy Dalton is having a pretty good year, and he's been able to avoid being Andy Dalton under the glare of the spotlights. There are still questions from skeptics about whether he's for real, but he's also being talked about as a potential MVP in some circles. What Hue Jackson has been able to do with this guy should earn him a few mentions in the head coaching carousel this offseason.
The 3-5 Texans are coming off a bye week after a win against the hapless Titans, who promptly fired their head coach for losing to us. We're not awesome by any stretch of the imagination, but our team has done well against the Bengals the last few times we've met. While T.J. Yates won't be starting this game for the good guys, J.J. Watt will, so we can at least hope for a repeat of one of the results from 2011.
This is your Countdown thread, where you are free to discuss your hopes, fears, thoughts, etc., about this matchup, and the Texans in general. Enjoy!
