Veteran Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones – the same guy earlier this season decided it was a good idea to slam an opponent’s skull into their own helmet – does not understand how the Houston Texans could possibly be so happy after defeating a heavily favored (and undefeated) team on the road.
"They f****** won a game," Jones said. "We're 8-1. How many games have they won? Thank God for them."
"They've won four f****** games. They act like they won the Super Bowl. Kudos to them."
Yes, Adam, the Texans did win a game; a game that nobody in America thought they would win. They are tied for the division lead, while you just lost to T.J. Yates in prime-time…again. Was it ugly? Sure. Did Tyler’s Eifert’s drops probably do more damage to the Bengals than the Texans' pass rush? Perhaps. But a win is a win and I’ll take it.
Last night’s game might not have been the Super Bowl, but for a 3-5 ball club that had its season hanging by a thread, it might as well have been.
